ABOUT EARTH'S ANGELS

Earth's Angels, based in Houston Texas, works to address the issues and pressures faced by teen girls and young adult women that pull them away from being the women that God designed for them to be. Earth's Angels also awards yearly Educational Scholarships to assist our teen girls and young women in attaining their educational goals.

The Mission of Earth's Angels Conference is to create learning experiences that will challenge each teen girl and young adult woman to build her life with purpose through a refreshed, hope-filled heart, a renewed self-confidence and a deep desire for a relational, daily walk with Jesus Christ.

EDUCATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS

Earth’s Angels gives a growing number of scholarship awards each year.
In 2009 we gave $10,000 in scholarships to deserving high school seniors and young adult women . Each year we strive to increase our scholarship program.

The instructions for applying for an Earth's Angels Educational Scholarship is included in the registration packet for download at the link at the top of the page. The scholarship essay deadline is February 6, 2010. So don't delay! Print out your registration packet and get your registration and required essay back to us by the deadline for consideration.

DAY 1, FRIDAY, MARCH 5th, 7PM

The Distinguished Hope & Scholarship Awards Gala

The Distinguished Hope is a presentation that extends appreciation and respect to senior women acknowledging their faithfulness to God, integrity and exemplary character as a Christian role model for younger generations of women. We call them Titus Women (Titus 2:3-5). The 2010 Distinguished Hope Honorees are Mrs. Freddie T. King and Mrs. Ruth Shelburne. We encourage you to invite a special woman who has made a difference in who you are today, to attend the Gala and Conference with you.

Emcee, Ms. Jennifer Garfield hosts the Gala which includes dinner and an evening of dance, prayer, fashion show of excellence and more. Educational scholarships will be awarded and the Distinguished Hope Honorees with be presented by Earth's Angels founder Mrs. Kathy A. Burrell and her husband Pastor George E. Burrell, Sr. of The Internal Hope Fellowship Church.

If you plan to book a night in the hotel on Friday, join us for Girl Talk at 10 PM.

A complimentary room for a weekend at The Crowne Plaza Hotel including meals will be awarded to a young adult married woman.

Each session is comprised of individual age/group classes with appropriate topics. Classes may include a combination of speakers, video presentations and class discussion. Materials provided. Class groups consist of ‘Titus Women’ ages 38+, Single women ages 18-35. Married women ages 18-35, High school girls grades 9-12 and Junior high girls grades 6-8.

LOCATION

The Crowne Plaza Hotel, Downtown Houston, 1700 Smith Street

A limited number of rooms are available at a discounted rate of $99 per night for Earth's Angels Conference 2010 attendees that would like to stay in the hotel during the event. Girls under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a chaperon over the age of 25. Call the Crowne Plaza at (713) 739-8800 and tell them you are with the Earth's Angels Conference before February 15, 2010 to receive the discounted rate.

REGISTRATION COST & DEADLINE

Pre-registration, send check by mail $50, or $55 at the door.

Fee includes Conference, meals, gift bag with goodies, program and Concert.
